Reports to the Human Resources Director and is the technical point-of-contact and business consultant to assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, design and development of dashboards and reports, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Train HR staff on company wide HRIS policies, procedures, and systems for audit compliance.
Participate in the development of overall strategic plan for HR systems
Serve as "point person" for the business on HRIS-related projects: helping to prioritize, develop, and refine business requirements
Ensure that all projects delivering on their stated objectives on time and on budget
Co-lead with subject matter experts on upgrades or implementation of new supplementary systems such as Employee/Manager Self Service, payroll, and time and attendance
Partner with IT to troubleshoot and correct system or process issues
Continually monitor processes and develop appropriate metrics to reflect accuracy and efficiency
Company Wide HR Effectiveness
Partner with HR Managers to continually refine and improve HR system processes in order to maximize efficiency, cost savings, and enable new HR initiatives
Manage HRIS vendor relationships to ensure the services that Orgill, Inc receives meet our needs and provide excellent value
Communicate system changes as needed to ensure all are implementing policies and procedures consistently
Provide training to Human Resources employees in regards to HRIS systems and policies and procedures
HRIS Integrations and Reporting
Develops, monitors, and executes "ad hoc" and ongoing requests for data to ensure that the workload is appropriate and that the reports are meeting the business needs
Create "ad hoc" custom reports based on HR and other departments' needs
Use experience and best practices to suggest new reports that may be of interest to HR staff and management
Assure accuracy of all reported data coming out of HRIS systems
Trouble shoot issues with weekly file transfer to VOE, unemployment, benefits, and various other vendors
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
Skills and Abilities
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5-10 years of related work experience, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Advanced knowledge of and ability in using various software applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and systems
Must seek continuous training and knowledge in order to stay abreast of changes in the Information Systems profession
Experience with system configuration, testing, implementation, and administration
Advanced reporting and analytics experience
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Certification in project management and/or human resources
Payroll application experience
R programming language
