Overview
As part of the Human Resources Team, the HRIS Coordinator is responsible for the integrity of data in the organization's HRIS and supporting systems. Workforce data maintained includes employee information, position details, licensure/certification status, and organizational structure. The HR Coordinator will perform accurate data reporting for various stakeholders and auditing of the HR system of record on a regular and on-going basis. Strong attention to detail is needed complete dashboards, surveys, benchmarks and compliance reporting. This role will support the maintenance of templates, training documents, data entry and Workday HRIS system support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within Human Resources as an assistant providing system testing, implementation and release support.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot basic user system questions
Liaise between HRIS Team, HR and system implementation partner during Workday implementation process and the support of existing HRIS systems prior to implementation of Workday
Provide regularly status updates; review transaction results; assess system performance & accuracy
Provide administrative support for testing during each Workday release phase; provide updates on priorities, changes in documentation, enhancement processes and key issues to address
Responds professionally with accuracy and in a timely manner to new hire changes, employee requests for information and changes by auditing the processing of moderate to complex Human Resources transactions pertaining to employee pay new hires, terminations and personal status changes according to established policies and procedures
Responds to escalated employee calls and inquiries
May handle incoming employee calls as needed
Keeps track of and accurately makes Position Control changes
Supports data collection for human resource department dashboards
Performs detailed data validation to ensure integrity of all information in the HRIS system
Extracts and analyses data from the HRIS system to support regulatory and internal audit requirements
Provides support for data feeds and interfaces with third party vendors, such as HealthStream and Shift Wizard.
Produces required federal governmental and healthcare regulatory reports.
Provides backup coverage to Front Desk staff as needed; supports service center initiatives.
Ability understand information quickly in a fast paced environment.
Liaise with the Payroll team in order to ensure all payroll transactions are processed and approved in a timely manner
Provides administrative support to compensation related to compensation communications, survey support and job description support
Conducts case management as required to meet employee's
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Working knowledge of application systems and analyst tools
2-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience in maintaining strict confidentiality of information
Familiar with HRIS systems such as ADP, UKG/Kronos and Workday
Perform any other duties and tasks related to the Department's role and responsibilities that might be assigned
Experience in working with the Workday system and/or other HRIS systems highly desired
Teamwork, organization, and time management skills
Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with varying personalities and styles
