HRIS Analyst will provide HR systems support (primary for some and backup for others) for the HR suite of tools used at Simmons Bank. These systems include Core HR, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Talent Management, Time Keeping, Benefits Administration, Compensation Management, and Learning Management. The HRIS Analyst will support the HRIS Manager as needed with tool review/selection, implementations, configuration of systems, user training, integrations with external tools, related reporting/dashboards, testing system updates, audits, acquisitions, and systems troubleshooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as systems expert for HR tools assigned by HRIS Manager

  • Configures assigned HRIS modules with direction of HRIS Manager to meet the needs of internal stakeholders.

  • Trains system users using a variety of methods including in person, video training, train the trainer, and written quick reference guides.

  • Ensures data integrity by overseeing data collection points for assigned HR systems, including data from other systems through our acquisitions.

  • Troubleshoots system issues and works with vendors to resolve them in a timely manner.

  • Tests new system releases and trains users on new functionality and system changes.

  • Stays on top of industry trends and best practices to keep Simmons' HRIS tools best in class and configured properly.

  • Assists in the creation of reports and dashboards related to assigned systems to help Simmons measure productivity and drive progress toward HR goals.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to promote the benefits of system adoption and importance of data integrity

  • Ability to identify system and data issues, develop a plan of action to resolve, and a go forward plan to ensure data integrity.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations

  • Ability to write procedures

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization

  • Ability to effectively present information to managers and top management

Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA degree or

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in HR Systems, or the equivalent in a combination of education and experience

Computer Skills

  • MS Office programs

  • Implementation/configuration experience with multiple HRIS products and modules

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • None

Other Qualifications (including physical requirements)

  • Experience evaluating and working with 3rd party consultants in system configuration/implementation

  • Project management experience taking HRIS projects from tool selection through system "go-live" including user training, system configuration, testing, integrations, and reporting setup

Provide project and analytical support to assigned business line(s) and/or functional area(s). Performs enterprise research, analysis, review, development, implementations, data conversion, and monitoring of new and/or revised products, processes, or services. Acts as a liaison between business units directly or indirectly impacted. Compiles and analyzes information and costs for an assigned project or area, and provide recommendations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Gather information from impacted business units to determine product, process, or service establishment and/or conversion to meet business needs. Provide recommendations throughout the project. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time. 2. Gather requirements to architect detailed technical/solution requirements and workflow documentation, identify key challenges. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time. 3. Communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders throughout project to ensure desired results are achieved. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time. 4. Create and/or update project documentation. This duty is performed weekly, about 5% of the time. 5. Perform detailed project deliverables. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 6.
