Join our team as a HRIS Analyst!
This is a hybrid position based out of Maple Plain, MN.
The HRIS Analyst role at Protolabs provides essential services to configure, maintain and administer the HRIS and other systems supporting the HR function, responsible for data management and reporting. Contributes to the delivery of HR process creation, data analysis and technology improvement for the company globally. This position implements, organizes and maintains the global human resources information systems (HRIS) and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information. The successful candidate will independently evaluate, analyze, design, implement and maintain the HRIS in support of the organizations data management and reporting needs.
You will:
Performs routine to complex system administrator responsibilities for the UKG application modules, including, but not limited to: Core HR, Time Management, Benefits, Performance Management, Onboarding.
Supervises the HR Systems Specialist role responsible for centralized processing of employee information and maintaining employee records in UKG.
Provides support for broader HR team and business process owners, including researching and resolving issues, unexpected results or process flaws; system configuration changes; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
Recommends and implements process improvements, and offers technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity.
Independently manage workflow of assigned processes, ensuring process steps are completed accurately and on time. Create & ensure process documentation is communicated and understood by stakeholders.
Conduct audits of system entries, including payroll auditing, to ensure integrity of the data.
Partners closely with the Payroll Administrator and the Sr Benefits Administrator to identify and maintain all system and process requirements related to the company's payroll and benefit programs are met.
Maintains, develops, and revises all system user guides, training materials, and documentation.
Develops HR reports and metrics and maintains exports for integrating HR data to other business systems.
Oversees system interfaces with vendors/partners to ensure data exchange integrity and reporting completeness, and take break/fix actions to correct issues.
Supports ongoing projects related to compliance reporting/updates and a variety of necessary system process changes
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of HRIS data and comply with all privacy and security regulations.
Seek opportunities to enhance functionality, and work collaboratively on enhancements to processes, and recommend solutions to non-routine problems.
Communicates effectively to internal & external stakeholders related to HR processes.
What it takes:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (required)
5+ years of HRIS experience utilizing UKG
Proficiency in Cognos Business Intelligence reporting
Proficient understanding of Human Resources business practices including the areas of benefit administration, payroll and compliance reporting.
Expertise with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
