In this role, responsibilities will include the oversight and administration of all human resource systems to include but not limited to: HRIS, Applicant Tracking, Performance and Learning Management, payroll and timekeeping systems. The incumbent will be the subject matter expert across all HR systems and provide oversight for payroll function. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a sound understanding of systems integration, and understand the various Human Resources systems as well as the need for data accuracy.
Performs as system administrator for talent systems, onboarding and HRIS
Supervises payroll function for organization through reviewing and approving the semi monthly payroll process
Oversees complete integrated solution to include data transfer and processing between systems
Maintains data integrity in human resources systems for accuracy of reporting and produces regular and/or ad hoc recruiting reports as required
Performs configuration, security access, and routine maintenance across all HR systems
Provide strong understanding with the ability to analyze and query application data schemas
Write, maintain, support and analyze a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
Document requirements, design and analyze a variety of reports or queries
Serve as SME for existing and future HRIS modules including but not limited to; core HR, absence management, advanced benefits, time and labor, compensation, recruitment, performance management, learning management, HR reporting, employee and manager self-service tools.
Implement HRIS functionality in support of multi-site regulatory and legislative compliance.
Ensure all HR information systems and users comply with data privacy requirements.
Provide HRIS applications support responsible for troubleshooting application and data issues, and as needed, coordinate resolution with technical teams or escalate and manage issues through system vendors.
Accountable for understanding, developing and maintaining documentation on system configuration and the functional business processes that support the system and leverage your expertise to provide user training and create supporting technical documentation.
Communicate with and educate new users regarding the benefits of the new systems, including regular training and updates on new features and updated functionality.
Verify feasibility of business user's requested functionality and business rules based on existing applications and data structures to identify technical, procedural and functional gaps.
Collaborate with development team, systems team, administrators and consultants to provide in-depth technical and functional solutions and ensure development of efficient and sustainable application systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
Ability to interface with Information Technology and Security Group
Responsible for all system integration, capabilities for potential and current solutions and/or expansions
Ability to understand business requirements
Project Management to include supporting ad hoc projects as needed by the HR team
Support and test interface programs and results to facilitate information flow between external systems and Oracle EBS.Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, Accounting or IT preferred.
5 years demonstrated functional and technical knowledge of HRIS products
3-5 years software development/engineering, business analyst, and/or infrastructure experience
Extensive knowledge of and experience in system analysis and new system development practices through all phases of SDLC
HRIS Systems experience required.
Ultimate Software or other timekeeping system experience preferred
Have advance computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows
Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
Be detail oriented and able to meet multiple and absolute deadlines
Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the task or department
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information at all times
Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills for correspondence at all levels
