The Role

This position partners with the Global HRIS Leader to run the day-to-day operations of the HRIS department, including data input and validation, running reports, and providing end-user support with a focus on improving processes and leveraging return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set priorities and conduct long-term planning.

This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS analyst also supports SAP HCM upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.Responsible for optimizing SAP HCM system use including maintaining data integrity and security, report development and testing, and report generation.

Also responsible for troubleshooting systems issues and partnering with the required parties to resolve problems, providing end-user support and other data intensive projects and initiatives. Ensures the Organizational Management module is 100% accurate to support inter-dependencies across other systems

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform day-to-day SAP HCM data requirements, including data entry and verification

  • Act as a key knowledge expert for SAP HCM environment

  • Partner with leadership to identify system improvement and value creation opportunities and work with business stakeholders to implement them

  • Generate reports/queries, including writing and maintaining a variety of reports or queries utilizing available reporting tools

  • Provide HR analytical reporting and analysis to help drive informed decisions

  • Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs

  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HCM system upgrades and patches.

  • Perform HCM data audits to include org management and on-going data clean-up

  • Partner with system users to ensure new processes are adhered to, assisting with communication and clarification of steps/processes

  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions policy changes and/or changes to established policy, ensuring changes are approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation

  • Conduct training for new system users, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation

  • Other key tasks as assigned

Skills & Experience

Experience and Education Requirements

  • College degree required, preferably in Business or Human Resources

  • Minimum of two years' experience in HRIS Administration required

  • Project management/coordination experience with demonstrated experience balancing multiple priorities and tasks effectively

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience with SAP HCM, SAP forms, and BOBJ are a plus

  • Exposure or experience in global HRIS preferred

  • PHR certified preferred
