Position Summary:

Under the direction of the HR Function Manager for Reporting, the HRIS Analyst provides employment data mining and analysis, HR compliance program development, and related reporting and support to assist Gallagher's global Human Resources function in achieving their strategic goals and objectives.

  • Consults with internal customers in response to report requests, to define data requirements and reporting needs.

  • Builds reports and reporting dashboards in Oracle Business Intelligence (for Taleo and general HR Data) application to satisfy report requests, thoroughly testing and validating results against data and customer requirements.

  • Creates and/or generates periodic reported data and metrics analyses for leadership or other pre-defined audiences.

  • Develops new ideas for analytics, making related process improvement and data integrity recommendations.

  • Facilitates functional compliance and data integrity reporting, surfacing opportunities for improvement or corrective action to various HR leaders and tracking ongoing improvements or trends.

  • Performs special tasks and projects as required.

Additional Considerations:

  • Participates in HRIS upgrades and enhancements, providing critical reporting and data expertise and responding to emerging project requirements from a reporting or data perspective.

  • Consults with members of Gallagher Global Human Resources team, responding to reporting requests, refining requirements, training and educating users on a variety of reporting and BI/analysis tools.

Required:

  • Bachelors' degree and 3 or more years relevant Business Intelligence experience required.

  • Demonstrated strength and experience utilizing various reporting tools and MS Excel for variety of data analysis needs; building, testing and publishing reports in a variety of business intelligence tools.

  • Strong skills in the use of technology including, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE, Taleo, OTBI) expertise a plus.

Desired:

  • Experience building, testing and publishing reports in Oracle Business Intelligence or similar BI applications (Taleo, SuccessFactors, other HRIS).

  • Experience with Human Resources data including Payroll a plus.

The Global HRIS Manager serves a meaningful role – to connect the dots between Gallagher HR users and leaders requirements for HR applications and the technical delivery of those requirements -- liaising between the functional users and configuration support team and related technical delivery team members across Gallagher's global and integrated HR application landscape (Oracle Cloud HRIS, as well as adjacent applications such as Cornerstone Learning Management System). In this role, you will lend your oversight to matters of application configuration, maintenance, security, user training, system upgrades, implementation of additional functionalities, patches, testing and other technical projects as needed. You will partner with HR leadership and end users across the HR function to set and execute strategies for integration of Oracle Cloud HCM and other HR applications, and recommend and develop standard methodologies for utilizing available system functionalities. This position works multi-functionally with our Corporate HR Operations Leaders, our global HR user base, and onshore/offshore technical consultants and vendors. In addition you will lead the Oracle Cloud technical/functional project management team members, coaching and developing team resources to champion and uphold a strong partnership with their respective functional process owners in areas of Compensation and Reward; Performance Management; Training and Development; Core HR; Payroll; Benefits; Talent Acquisition/Recruiting; etc. This team ultimately leads the design and modification of our Cloud HR application environment, in partnership with human resources and information systems staff and leadership, to design new or modify existing HRIS to meet the growing requirements of our dynamic global Human Resources function. Your duties will include (but are not limited to): * Work directly with Business/Customers, advising on complex use of Oracle HCM products and resolve highly complex and mission-critical issues. Works with the Global Oracle HRIS Leader with direction provided by HR Functional Leaders and global partners. * Improve customer satisfaction and reduce cycle-time on specific wing to wing processes within the HR Function utilizing HCM systems. * Seek, share and institutionalize HCM application standard methodologies across all HR Functions. * Guide the user community on the best use of existing and/or newly introduced system functionality. * Lead Oracle Cloud or other system implementations in alignment with standard HR policies and procedures. * Ensure that the resources and processes for projects, methodology, and delivery is structured for and operating at maximum efficiency * Implement quality in the rigor of application design discussions to ensure the right technical solution is provided to address the functional requirements. * Clearly communicate project and program status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management, HR Steering and Governance committees or other partner groups. * Lead activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the program(s).
