Job Description:

The HR Technology Solutions Architect is responsible for the end-to-end functionality of employee service center technologies such as ticketing, knowledge bases, and telephony. The HR Technology Solutions Architect has in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform solutions and related technologies.  The role will promote and support our HCM organizational design principles and ensure current and future functionality aligns with technology direction that will meet our unique business requirements.

This team member will partner closely with our Integrated Business Technology (IBT) teams and various key HCM business stakeholders to deliver transformational programs involving digital HR solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

Delivering a Modern and Connected Experience

  • Lead the enterprise-wide overall functional delivery of solutions utilizing ServiceNow alongside other integrated SaaS cloud applications. Drive the ongoing success of multi-national business processes and people solution activities by ensuring the Workday system elements and functionality align with Organization Design Principles that support business drivers.

  • Serve as an escalation point for all system functionality issues and rapidly address the identification, research, and resolution of various challenges within ServiceNow and cloud applications (including configuration issues, unexpected results, process flaws, etc.).

  • Ensure direction and functionality of systems adhere to professional and industry standards, and remain in compliance with state, federal, and Canadian regulatory requirements related to record keeping and reporting.

  • Maintain a high-level of understanding regarding functionality and features and perform needed research with other industry leading organizations to ensure alignment with vendor roadmaps and industry trends.

  • Provide leadership and guidance in support of outstanding issues and requests with vendors.

  • Support the success of user experience testing (UXT) by providing a holistic perspective of system design and functionality that are vital to business needs and the desired user experience.

  • Support efforts across the digital HR ecosystem to ensure up-to-date documentation on functionality and experience through job aids, standard operating procedures, and training materials.

Partnering & Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with division HR leadership, HCM Portfolio team, HR COE's, Cox IBT and key stakeholders across the Cox family of companies aligning the HCM system design and functionality for current and future business drivers.  Employ effective communication and feedback mechanisms/routines designed to fortify partnerships and maximize information exchange.

  • Provide leadership for the effective delivery of digital HR projects/programs by working closely with Cox Divisions, HR COE's, Cox IBT teams and vendor partners to create executable project plans.

  • Consistently strive for a consumer-grade user experience - intuitive, easy, effective; participate in and/or create forums to gather relevant "voice of the customer" feedback so that Cox consistently "delight" users in their interactions with HR.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Information Technology or Business-related degree and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field.

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise-wide HR technology solutions.

  • 5+ years with ServiceNow configuration experience with a clear understanding of current end-to-end functionality as well as the vendor roadmap.

  • Experience with HR Technology integrations and implementations.

  • Executive relationship management expertise --- capability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Preferred  Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's Degree is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and influence across organizational boundaries.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated capacity to influence operational functions with customer service orientation.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a dynamic environment subject to changes in priorities and schedules.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate presentations to internal and external groups.

  • Strategic mindset with a willingness to be hands on as required.

  • Trustworthy; maintains confidentiality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
