As the HR Technology Business Analyst you'll be one of the business technology leads in the Human Resources function driving the evolution of how HR leverages technology to achieve our strategic priorities. You'll lead HR's evolution of the People Experience in Workday (HR knowledge, process walkthrough guidance via WalkMe, Journeys, home page) and collaboration technology (Microsoft Office, Teams, Power Platform) by influencing and aligning stakeholders, performing deep research on future capabilities, planning roadmaps, designing & delivering solutions, triaging and addressing issues, proactively managing change, and completing other typical project management tasks as needed.

  • You can build an enjoyable people experience by understanding the needs of associates and the organization, leveraging Workday Help and other technologies to create an engaging and effective experience with HR's knowledge and key moments that matter. You help ensure that the people experience is a valuable asset by aligning it with HR's strategic goals and driving continued investment in our experience by promoting the positive impact our solutions have to HR teams that could take further advantage of our offerings.

  • You have a passion for advancements in technology, like GenAI and Microsoft Copilot, and have experience in creating simple and scalable solutions to help HR become more efficient. You have collaboration technology experience, including Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, & OneDrive.

  • You can effectively manage the demand for technology enhancements within your functional area by analyzing and prioritizing requests, implementing strategies to optimizing resource utilization and balance competing priorities, while advancing the HR strategic goals.

  • You can analyze, design, and optimize business processes through gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and partnering with IT to implement solutions that increase efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.

  • You can effectively design and deliver technology enhancements by collaborating with IT and defining functional requirements, conducting thorough testing to ensure alignment with requirements, serving as the point of contact to troubleshoot issues, and coordinating resolution and escalation with IT as necessary.

  • You can apply critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity to effectively identify, analyze, and solve problems, utilizing a variety of problem-solving techniques and strategies.

  • You can effectively collaborate with individuals and teams from different departments or areas of expertise by leveraging communication skills, active listening, and empathy to build strong working relationships, fostering a culture of mutual respect and trust, and achieving shared goals and objectives.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $103,977-$166,363

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $85,477-$136,763

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
