About the Position:

Develop, document and analyze business processes and functional requirements.

Facilitate information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to team.

Provide superior customer service and support to our fellow colleagues and business partners to maximize their efficient use of systems.

Assist with implementation of process changes and business system enhancements.

Continuously improve HR Systems processes and procedures.

Participate in the development of business cases.

Conduct analyses of functional business cases in the support of process changes and/or projects.

Audit and refinement of HR data; continually improving our data footprint.

Assist in system testing and quality assurance process for system upgrades and new module implementations.


Cross-functional experience on PeopleSoft is required.

Advanced knowledge of Excel is critical. For example, a VLOOKUP or pivot table should be standard practice.

Experience supporting and/or implementing functional processes and technical design.

Knowledge of SQL is essential.

Knowledge of HRIS system and practices associated with this area of organization.

Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Ability to analyze and interpret HR and related data.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8-10 years Business Analyst and/or System experience.

VIEW JOBS 3/23/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-21T00:00 Job Responsibilities: * Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. * Plans, designs, testing, evaluation or design of systems or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set. * Create documentation to support project methodology, software development lifecycle, and SOX. * Work closely with other teams, including development team, QA leads, and project managers to coordinate and drive to successful completion all phases of a project including requirements, design, development, testing and deployment. * Work with users and information system development staff to determine data storage and access requirements. * Maintain project timelines and ensure allocated resources are performing to optimal levels. * Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, including the business and technical departments. * Work closely with onsite developers, managers and executives to ensure the release of high quality products. * Cultivate close working relationships with the application teams and users on new and existing software applications. * Hands-on management and troubleshooting of production issues and ongoing enhancements * Day-to-day environment management including web, application, batch and database servers * Coordinate across all phases within a software release. Minimum Qualifications: * Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. * Over 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience * Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong knowledge in the following areas: * Peoplesoft Technologies such as PeopleTools 8.5x or better, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application packages, messaging & Integration broker, Advance Workflows, SQR, XML Publisher, PSQuery, Portal Pack, Security, Verity search engine, UPK * Application Modules: HCM, Portal, Talent Acquisition and Candidate Gateway, Self-Service modules, Performance Management, Absence Management, Time & Labor, Payroll interface, HR Helpdesk * Web technologies: IIS, Weblogic, HTML, XML, CSS, Web Services * Oracle RDBMS architecture, tuning guidelines, and available development tools – SQL, PL/SQL, catalog tables * Comfortable with Unix/AIX/Solaris/Linux and Windows with scripting on these operating systems * Working knowledge of Peoplesoft application deployment, upgrade, migration, and administration * Good understanding of SOX on application releases, documentation, and access controls Juniper Networks Sunnyvale CA
