Salary Grade: GN07 Salary Range: $32,703 - $51,904
This position is located at Warren Correctional Institution in Manson, NC which is a adult male facility that houses approximately 680 offenders and has a staff of 323. This position provides direct supervision of two staff and is responsible for carrying out the day to day functions associated with all aspects of the Human Resource department to include:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
Listed below are the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) associated with the position. These KSAs, along with the minimum education and experience listed, are required in order to be deemed "eligible" for the position therefore you must provide supporting information, within the body of your application, to demonstrate your possession of each KSA listed.
Documented recruitment, employment/hiring experience.
Documented experience handling employee benefits, payroll issues, and a variety of other programs i.e; FMLA, VSL, Short/Long-term, Workers Compensation.
Documented knowledge of personnel management
Candidates with prior State government HR experience;
Beacon/SAP specific experience.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Associate's degree, typically in Human Resources from an appropriately accredited institution or relevant field and no years of experience required; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
