HR Specialist III

HR Specialist III North Chicago, IL (onsite) 2 years Contract Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.

Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar software to create interactive and insightful dashboards. HR Technology:

Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, CompAnalyst) for managing employee information and HR processes. Data Management: Ability to manage and analyze HR data to support decision-making and improve HR operations.

Verbal and Written Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze benefits and compensation data: Collect and compile data related to employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and incentives. Analyze compensation data, including salary structures, bonuses, and incentives, to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company goals.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding total rewards reporting tools, providing clear and accurate information. Developing and maintaining reporting tools: Utilize Excel macros, VBA, and generative AI to maintain and update Excel reporting tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure data integrity. Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and streamline data analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 5 plus years' related experience Proven experience as a Total Rewards Analyst or similar role, with a focus on benefits and compensation analysis.

Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of advanced formulas, VBA macros, and data visualization. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present complex data effectively. Familiarity with CompAnalyst and generative AI tools.

Knowledge of total rewards best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
