Manages all employee related data and records through two separate databases.
Coordinates updates to databases.
ADP experience highly preferred.
Processes all employment data changes.
Forwards all necessary documents to Payroll and Finance for processing.
Notifies Supervisor, Human Resources of any out of cycle changes.
Performs QA/QC checks regularly by verifying information in all HRIS systems to ensure accuracy.
Maintains and updates all personnel files.
Sends out new hire notifications.
Ensures that all I-9s are processed in accordance to DHS/SSA guidelines.
Escalates any non-compliance issues to the Supervisor.
Processes and monitors Unemployment Claims for efficiency, compliance and timeliness.
Completes all employment verifications as well as OPM investigations.
Responds to email inquiries in HR inbox.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred in Human Resources or applicable field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
1-3 years in Human Resources Administration.
Knowledge of payroll basics and NC/VA employment laws.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have good data input skills.

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
