Role Summary

The HR Solutions Consultant is responsible for delivering organization design and/or compensation solutions including organization diagnostics/assessments, identification and development of solutions to increase effectiveness through job design and organizational design/restructuring, compensation programs, and people strategy consultation.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Works as a member of a project-based solutions team to execute organization design and compensation work streams by identifying customer and operational needs; analyzing resources, costs, and incorporates them into business plans.

  • Provide expertise on job scoping, competencies/skills required, leveling, and alignment. Counsels HRBPs and leaders regarding the development of job summaries and/or descriptions; role clarification.

  • Conduct leading practices research on organization models and benchmark studies for input into organization designs.

  • Present findings and recommendations to design leads and HRBPs and collaborate to determine plan for implementation.

  • Provides guidance, reviews quantitative and qualitative analyses and research that may be prepared by analysts, works on complex analyses, and drafts presentations that include meaningful conclusions for review by team leadership.

  • Analyzes current variable compensation programs to determine plan effectiveness; models proposed incentive plans to ensure viability of design and ensure payouts will provide market competitive payments for appropriate performance requirements

  • Prepares special studies and recommendations on subjects such as base pay delivery, incentive compensation, and performance management. Consults with management to assess competitive labor market trends and specific business needs as they relate to compensation.

  • Perform data analysis using advanced dynamic Excel modeling. Understand project components and processes to make sure analyses are correct.

  • Trains HR leaders and managers on existing pay programs and the use of related software tools.

  • Proactively stays abreast of industry and geographic market trends that may have an impact on the Company's ability to attract and retain talent; partnering with HRBP's, conducts market research, monitors compensation trends and identifies and addresses related compensation issues in the business.

  • Maintains and analyzes ongoing compensation programs; evaluates jobs using market data and established evaluation systems and/or procedures; audits evaluation of jobs; ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the compensation function.

  • Job can be located in any CCI location.

Skills and Qualifications Minimum

  • 3 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. internal and/or external consulting in an Org Development/Org Effectiveness/Org Design or Compensation role)

  • 2 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

  • Demonstrated experience in the following areas: Organizational analysis/diagnostics, organization restructuring, compensation, or job design.

  • Ability to produce high quality outputs in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands.

  • Effective interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and facilitation capabilities. Demonstrated experience using analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong quantitative reasoning skills

  • Proven ability to create high-quality deliverables and represent concepts through presentations/models/visuals

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel

  • Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information


  • BA/BS Organization Development and/or Effectiveness, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Master's degree in Organization Development and/or Effectiveness, Human Resources, or Industrial Psychology

  • Org Design or Lean Six Sigma Certification

  • Experience in telecommunications industry

Three years of professional HR experience, with one years in compensation administration or HR consulting.
