Responsible to provide excellent customer service to members by quickly answering member inquiries and providing appropriate and accurate information. Perform various clerical, administrative and telephone duties in support of Human Resources. Primary contact for customer inquiries and responsible for resolution of customer issues and complaints in both verbal and written forms. Works with customers with regard to company-sponsored insurance plans, retirement and retirements savings plans, financial assistance, Together Fund, badging/provisioning, parking transponders, NERC/pre-employment backgrounds, I-9 compliance, member updates, member records management, process new hires and onboarding.
Member main point of contact for Human Resources (HR) across all areas of HR (e.g., New Hire Orientation, Benefits, Employment Verification, etc.).
Provide members with excellent customer service, greeting members, answering phone calls and providing solutions to questions; Provide information about benefit plans and answer inquiries and/or complaints from members, supervisors, and benefit providers, escalating to HR subject matters experts or management, as appropriate; Monitor daily requests from HR Solutions Center inbox; Inquiries are responded to in person, by telephone or written.
Ensure efficient and responsive follow up to member inquires, as appropriate.
Prepare documentation for new hires and/or member organization and/or personal information updates, coordinating with Payroll to ensure correct information is reflected for member in a timely manner.
Ensure timely and accurate record keeping to include records required for compliance purposes.
Participate in special projects including continuous improvement.
Educate members about HR and company information.
High School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) combined with Five (5) years Human Resources experience, OR
Associate's Degree combined with Three (3) years Human Resources experience, OR
Bachelor's degree combined with One (1) year Human Resources experience.
Valid State Driver's License.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with diverse personalities and sensitive situations.
Knowledge of HR Policies, Retirement Plans, and 401(k) plans.
Ability to understand, comply with, and guide members on company policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures, as needed.
Excellent written and verbal skills including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company members/management including the ability to facilitate a group event (e.g., new hire orientation).
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, assisting members with daily inquiries about various policies or other information.
Ability to organize documents and reports and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to work effectively with confidential information and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work primarily in an office environment using computer equipment for extended durations including a keyboard, mouse and computer monitor.
May be required to work non-standard work schedules including overtime.
May require travel.
