Responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development Manages a professional staff.

Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. Successful track record as a generalist and manager. BA/BS degree.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will build trusted advisor relationships with all levels of management across assigned client groups; partner with client business units to apply HR management principles and knowledge to establish rapport, trust, confidence and credibility with management and employees. The Director/ is responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build a data driven HR organization that will support Oracle ERP Cloud team and various Senior Leaders in the SAAS Development team.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business/culture to provide vision, strategic leadership and high level communication across the organization

  • Formulate and execute global organization-wide programs and initiatives (e.g. workforce planning, salary/bonus/stock review, employee engagement, retention, organizational change, performance management, and top talent and leadership development)

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the executive leadership team by developing strong, proactive and collaborative working relationships

  • Act as the point contact for senior leadership to provide guidance on strategic HR initiatives

  • Utilize a data driven approach to identify key trends in the business and proactively provide solutions

  • Lead a team of HR professionals by providing guidance on team objectives, coaching and mentoring the staff

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.

  • 8 years of experience building, leading and managing an HR Team at a high technology company

  • Self-directed leader with prior experience at a rapid scaling company

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment on both strategic and tactical levels

  • Strong HR M&A Experience is a plus

  • Ability to build trust and credibility between Human Resources and the client group

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships quickly

  • Business acumen skills are essential for success

  • Strong team collaboration and management skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company and lead presentations to executive leadership

  • Provide subject matter expertise in employment/labor laws and regulations

  • Strong analytical and decision making skills

  • Polished verbal and written communication skills; and, effective problem solving ability

  • Must be self-directed and possess the ability to quickly learn and use internal systems and tools

  • Ability to execute on business strategy within a global matrix HR organization

  • Travel as required

This role will partner strongly with HR TMO (Transformation Management Office) for the Strategic HR direction, with assigned HRBP's for the BU HR alignment, and actively engage with cross functional deal teams though the entire deal lifecycle to achieve the defined business objectives in alignment with the overall M&A HR delivery model. This role will actively guide assigned HR M&A resources during all phases of the project ensuring (1) thorough due diligence is conducted and (2) an appropriate operational project plan is developed and executed for an effective employee transition with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. This person will identify and project manage an HR M&A deal team, and be responsible for participating, driving, and/or leading this team to complete due diligence, develop and communicate mainstream employment offers, transition compensation and benefits to HP, manage employee data, and work with the MoC work-stream to ensure that newly acquired employees are orientated into their new roles and teams as effectively as possible. This role will also partner with key stakeholders such as Corp Dev, TMO, COE's and People Operations teams to ensure defined processes, playbooks, and knowledge is acquired and maintained for deal management, aligning to business objectives and the overall M&A HR delivery model.
