The primary focus of this position is to support EnerSys HR and its employees. The HR Shared Services Payroll Analyst primary function will be supporting EnerSys HR/Payroll systems, Benefits and Reporting while continuously looking for areas of improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create/Prepare reports using SAP payroll
Reconciliation of all reports prior to posting for end users
Validate reports from SAP Payroll source system and 3rd party systems
Handle any inquires and troubleshoot items that are submitted from end-users
HR Shared Services: Initial point of contact for local HRBP for assistance; primary point of contact for employees to assist with questions including Payroll, Benefits, Processes and ETC; Monitor HR Shared Services Mailbox to ensure all inquiries are being handled appropriately and any escalated issues are being resolved in a timely manner
Review replication of errors from SAP cloud application to SAP Payroll
Working closely with Local HRBP and Recruiting team to ensure accurate data within SAP cloud application
Analyzing data to determine root causes and working with team on continued process improvement
Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy of system
Review/monitor inbound/outbound interfaces between 3rd Party vendor (ADP Tax, ADP Garnishments, Wells Fargo Banking, etc.) and SAP Payroll and decipher appropriate actions to resolve errors
Integral part of acquisitions
Work closely with HR team on planning and integrating into EnerSys
Involved in testing of applications
Payroll: pay file loading; mass employee changes assist with final payroll reports, final review of Quarterly reporting; prepare & distribute payroll related communications
Manage 401k data integration and funding processes
Oversee Fleet vehicle processes
Provide Metrics based on department needs using Kronos, HR Shared Services ticketing system and SAP Payroll
Benefit/Processing Back-up: Support the Benefits Specialist and HR Shared Services Specialists in supporting the system and our employees
Compliance: Maintain and update state compliance state and local leave information; maintain and address new compliance payroll changes.
Technical support, Tier 1, to Kronos Time and Attendance System and assist with maintaining the system and deliver enhancements to the application and review daily errors from SAP Cloud application to Kronos Workforce Dimensions
Ability to correctly interpret and apply company policies; provide timely, accurate responses to employee inquiries
Ability to solve practical problems in a timely manner and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format. Ability to prioritize.
Reporting: Create and/or run a variety of reports via Kronos, Benefit Solver or SAP based on customer needs
Payroll Processes Documentation: Update current payroll process documentation and keep processes updated

Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 5 years of work-related experience.
Solid experience with HR/Payroll/Benefit systems
Competent computer skills in MS Office.
Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law
Payroll Processing and Reconciliation experience with minimum 3 years' experience
Knowledge of SAP cloud application is highly desirable but not required.
Knowledge of Kronos Time & Attendance and SAP Employee Central Payroll highly desirable but not required
Knowledge of FMLA and ADA guidelines and requirements
Tax Remittance experience
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Continuously looking for areas of improvement
Ability to work in a team environment in order to support all aspects of HR Shared Services
