We have a great opportunity to join our busy HR team located in Hull as we are looking to recruit a resilient HR Services Supervisor. on a FTC for 12 months.
This is a vital role in fulfilling our vision for a sustainable and profitable future for the maritime sector.
Purpose:
To be responsible for the day-to-day Supervision of the HR Services team, providing a service that delivers accurate information on time, and in accordance with company and employee requirements using best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
The HR Services Supervise will lead a team of HR Services administrators to manage the HR processes for the end-to-end lifecycle of employment for all ABP colleagues. Strong people management to deal with ongoing complexity projects. To Support, advise, and guide managers and colleagues to ensure the integrity of employee records are maintained and HR systems are updated accordingly.
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and deliver changes is key. Ensuring key stakeholders are aware, input and kept informed of progress.
Accountabilities
Effectively supervising the HR Services team ensuring accurate, timely processing and reporting, and providing cover for any team absence.
Providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the team meets its objectives and delivers high-quality services.
Develop/Train HR Services team members as and when required and assist the HR Services & Payroll manager with complaints, escalations, and issues.
Duties include prioritising day to day work, creating, maintaining, and updating of HR records.
Identify continuous process improvements, and drive change.
Work towards HR Services KPIs including process improvement metrics.
About you:
A Strong understanding of HR procedures/deliverables/legislation & policies, attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Strong customer service, planning, organising and time management skills. To be able to communicate effectively (written & verbal) with good interpersonal skills to achieve outstanding results.

CIPD Level 5 or working towards
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Good knowledge of SAP
Analytical and problem-solving skills
