Position: HR Services Representative

Schedule: Monday

  • Friday 10 am

  • 6:30 pm

Targeted Start Date: Mid September

Position Summary

Responsible for answering benefit and payroll questions and supporting associate with personal and job-related transactions. The HR Services Rep will assist associates and managers calling HR Direct to complete Personal data, Job data and Benefit-related transactions in HRAccess. They will provide 1st level functional support to associates and managers using a web application on-line to complete their transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Answer benefit and payroll questions

  • Respond to calls transferred from the IVR to assist associates and managers with benefits inquiries and ESS/MSS transactions

  • Input appropriate data into the core application of HRAccess to complete benefit data transactions that cannot be completed through ESS or MSS

  • Coordinate with other functional groups within HRDirect as necessary

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers

  • Provide first level functional support to callers needing assistance with ESS and MSS

  • Provide first level functional support to store managers entering HR data transactions through the POS.

  • Assist with HR and PR data transactions and inquiries

  • Document all calls in HRDirect call tracking system

  • Engage Service Coordination Supervisor for issue resolution as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve goals

  • Fluency in Spanish or French a plus, verbal and written

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years HR, payroll and benefits administration experience
  • 1-2 years Service Center environment experience

The Guest Service Representative is the first point of brand contact in our bakery and serves in an essential role to engage and bring joy to our guests, create a memorable experience and leave a positive, lasting impression. The Guest Service Representative embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to guest satisfaction as well as excellence and efficiency in the workplace. Part time GSRs will be scheduled 10-25 hours per week Monday-Saturday. Must have the flexibility to work two or more morning, mid-day and early evening shifts per week. Shifts times may vary but typically the hours are morning (8:30am-3pm), mid day (10am-4pm) or closing hours (12pm-7pm or 3pm-7pm). Some holidays will be needed. Bakery hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm / Saturday, 10am-6pm / Sunday - Closed Accountabilities/Duties: * Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience. * Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise. * Suggests additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration. * Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point-of-sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected. * Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces. * Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation. * Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed. * Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene. * Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements: * Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. * While no formal education or work experience is required, previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant or retail store is a plus.
