The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Human Resources Department is looking for a HR professional that can work across multiple HR and business functions to support Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a strategic Human Resources team partnering with HR Generalists and the HR Shared Services organization to serve our clients in their human resources needs.

Specific job duties will include:

  • Act as a liaison and escalation point for human resources inquiries related to

recruiting, onboarding & transfer processes; benefits; Firm policies including

leaves of absence, tuition reimbursement, employee referrals and

employment verifications

  • System administrator for Workday and Taleo to include approvals,

transactions, training and troubleshooting

  • Process employee referrals and other critical HR transactions

  • Liaise with compensation & headcount data teams to ensure clients' data

needs and requirements are met for accurate reporting

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR transaction processes &

training documentation

  • Participate in special projects as required

  • Perform related duties as assigned

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree and up to two (2) years of experience in Human Resources

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Workday &/or Taleo a plus

  • Teamwork be a team player as well as partner & collaborate across teams

  • Resourcefulness the desire to do whatever is necessary to help the Team

  • Professionalism ability to behave and communicate in an articulate and

professional manner, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Thorough attention to detail

  • Adaptability to fast paced, ever-changing environments and priorities (must have

strong prioritization skills)

  • Extremely organized with excellent follow-up & ability to manage expectations

It reports to the senior director, HR IT organization. The organizations this role supports are comprised of 2 senior vice presidents, 3 vice presidents, 13 senior directors and over 550 professional employees across both organizations. As part of the Global IT HR leadership team, this role will be accountable for driving the strategic people agenda for organizations named above which also includes driving cultural change as the IT operating model continues to evolve.
