Human Resources Recruiter

Are you a highly skilled and motivated recruiter who thrives on winning in today's challenging and complex world of talent acquisition? This is your opportunity to be a game changer!

Join the Shrader Tire and Oil team and put your talents to work for our well-established, yet growing, company.

Our wide variety of positions include commercial truck tire technicians, delivery drivers, truck and lube technicians, warehouse, manufacturing, sales, and general office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing innovative sourcing and networking strategies to identify, attract, and retain top talent

  • Coordinating campus recruiting and other community recruiting events

  • Collaborating with Marketing, HR, and the leadership team to maintain and refresh the recruitment brand identity

  • Conducting intake calls and working closely with hiring managers to ensure all recruiting needs are met

  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates for consideration

  • Assessing culture fit to ensure support of our core values and the STO Way

  • Creating a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process

  • Managing the offer and onboarding process by collaborating with the HR team and hiring managers

  • Coordinating the pre-employment screening process

  • Developing a talent pipeline for future hiring opportunities

  • Staying current on talent acquisition trends and implementing best-in-class recruiting and retention practices

  • Managing the administrative duties related to recruiting, including the requisition process, developing job postings, conducting reference checks, scheduling interviews, and maintaining regular communication with candidates

  • Managing the applicant tracking system

  • Tracking and reporting key metrics

  • Managing relationships with 3rd party recruiting resources (RPO partner, job boards, staffing companies, schools)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting production and other high labor jobs

  • High sense of urgency and strong organizational skills

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage high volume requisition load

  • Self-directed and a creative thinker

  • Experienced with social media platforms and ATS databases

  • Recruiting for positions in commercial trucking industry is helpful but not required
