Job Description

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of HR Tech/Operations Supervisor at Georgia Regional Hospital

• Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Under limited supervision, the HR Tech/Operations Supervisor will oversee the Operations section of the local Human Resources Department to include payroll, personnel actions, transactions, records and file management. This position will also have duties and responsibilities related to position management, and compensation/salary administration work as well. The HR Tech/Operations will provide training, professional level analysis, research and technical assistance in the area of Operations. This position supervises several Tech level staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field

• Experience in managing organizational change, and/or project management

• Experience in establishing strong partnerships with leadership and management

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• HRCI and/or SHRM Certifications are a plus

High school diploma/GED and four (4) years of experience performing human resources job-related functions, which includes one (1) year in a lead worker, team lead, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Tech 4 (HRT014) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
