The HR Operations Analyst is an individual contributor within the HR Operations organization. Working closely with the HR Operations team, the incumbent will participate in projects with the various HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and other key stakeholders to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage return on MCM's current use of HR technology.

The HR Operations Analyst will provide analysis and lead projects on a variety of high-priority, sensitive initiatives across the organization. This position will collaborate with your peers on setting technology priorities and long-term planning while leveraging project management skills to lead projects. The HR Operations Analyst also serves as a technical point-of-contact for HR ServiceNow and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

This role will be a key contributor to company objectives by providing analytical solutions and proactive recommendations to senior management and the HR Leadership Team. The HR Operations Analyst will be a strategic partner with our Workday Support Team and may support other HR system and process requests as they arise. Responsibilities ServiceNow Program Development, Maintenance and Support

  • Working closely with IT partners and senior team members, manage the maintenance support and continuous improvement of the HR ServiceNow system, including requirements gathering, training, change management, documentation and communication. Ensure that catalog items and knowledge article database reflects current state of HR operations and policies/procedures.

    Regularly review the use of catalog items and perform analysis to determine whether end user expectations are being met. Research and advise on existing and upcoming capabilities of ServiceNow platform. Educate HR COE members on best practices and engage in continuous improvement exercises. 30% HR Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop and maintain reports from HR systems, other business systems and manual tracking processes to consolidate data to analyze and interpret employee and organizational demographics in support of HR compliance audits and various other business initiatives. Identify issues, trends, and opportunities.

    Create and prepare analysis of data and present salient information for diverse audiences to address and solve critical issues. Partner with leaders and business groups to determine reporting needs. Leverage operational and financial data within HR reporting and analysis to design needed dashboards, scorecards, reports and analysis, and implement solutions. 30% Workday Data Governance

  • Assists with the management and maintenance of Workday data. Works with Workday Support Team and HR Operations team to ensure system data integrity and partners with other HR colleagues to solve data integrity issues. 20% HR Budget Support

  • Assist with the preparation of the annual HR budget in coordination with the Manager, HR Operations, the HR Leadership Team and the MVP, Human Resources, including data input, budget narrative and presentation development, HR headcount tracking, reforcasting and other related items. Track and validate all expenses impacting HR budget lines, including providing purchase requisition/order, invoice and vendor management support in Workday.

    Partner with HR Compliance Manager on tracking Global Mobility costs. Provide reporting to HRLT quarterly on actual vs budgeted expenses. Serve as a liaison between HR and Finance. 10% Other ad-hoc projects as assigned. 10% Education Required:

    Bachelor; Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Economics, or other field. Experience Required: 2 years of experience as an HR analyst or equivalent knowledge in related field (HR, Benefits, L&D, Compliance, Payroll, Accounting, etc.) Preferred: Experience with a large, global corporation.

    Shared services experience. Experience with project management principles. Experience with budget administration.

    Skills/Additional Experience Demonstrated functional skills in the use of HRIS or other data systems. Workday HCM and Financials, ServiceNow, technical/systems administration experience preferred. Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.

    Advanced Excel skills, including macros, vlookups, and pivot tables preferred. Understanding of Payroll, Benefits, Applicant Tracking, Recruiting, Time Off and/or HR processes and data. Understanding of systems and applications, with an emphasis of structure, functions and processes.

    Comfortable working with and analyzing large sets of data and presenting results. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    Ability to document processes.

    Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

    Ability to establish working relationships with team members at all levels in the organization. Ability to effectively manage confidential information.

    Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology. Excellent organizational skills. Work in a complex environment with multiple priorities.

    Must coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and independently set priorities. Results oriented, highly motivated, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and work well in a team environment.
