Our HR Manager is responsible for Human Resources leadership and support for Sprague's Pennsylvania (Tri-State) business unit with an emphasis on HR business partner activities. If you are a strategic minded person who can effectively balance business unit priorities and organizational development with corporate HR in a shared services model, this is the role for you! As a member of the Sprague PA management team, this position will manage employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, performance and compensation review processes, professional development programs, management coaching, and other activities for the business unit. As a partner with corporate HR, you will support organization, system, and process integration efforts while balancing local business unit priorities and needs.

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

  • At least 5 years related HR leadership or HRBP experience with broad generalist background.

  • BA/BS required.

  • Experience with DOT regulations and oil/gas industry a plus.

  • Experience with work process improvement, culture development, and change management.

  • Proficient in MS Office software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; good attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Must be creative and capable of researching and acquiring best practices, etc., from a variety of sources.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Some overnight travel may be involved

  • Must be willing to assume & perform a broad spectrum of duties, from internal consulting to administrative in nature.
