HR Manager

POSITION: HR Manager

SCOPE: We are seeking an experienced and bilingual HR Manager who has a strong background in California labor law and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources function for our manufacturing facility, ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews in both Spanish and English.
• Develop and implement onboarding and training programs for new hires.
• Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues, including discrimination and harassment complaints.
• Provide guidance and counsel to managers on employment-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, and provide guidance to management on best practices.
• Develop and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics, including turnover, retention, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage workers' compensation claims.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on California labor law and regulations.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation claims management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
