This position is responsible for organizational design, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, development of HR programs and change management for specified business groups. You must be an astute HR Business Partner, with expertise in the management of strategic planning, organization design, talent management, performance management, employee relations, change management, employee engagement strategy, and leadership development. You're a servant leader, who always acts with integrity and discretion to ensure your role as a trusted advisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Responsible for the HR Business Partner relationship and HR activities for the following corporate client groups: Information Technology & Finance functions, approximately 300 employees. * Act as key HR Business Partner liaising with senior leadership for corporate client groups on all aspects of HR, organizational development, and leadership development. * Manage all employee relations activities within the corporate client groups according to established guidelines and sound administrative practices and in accordance with the organization's mission, values, and goals. * Provide HR expertise on employment laws and practices. * Conduct research and develop/recommend solutions and process improvements on HR related projects, processes and policies aligned to GAF strategy, culture and business practices. LEVEL BASED COMPETENCIES: * Business Acumen * Communication Skills * Consultation Skills * Critical Thinking TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: * Advanced experience in HR partnering with the senior leadership team * Advanced experience in HR law, compliance, and regulations * Advanced experience in managing investigations * Advanced experience in influencing without authority * Intermediate Project management skills * Intermediate experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday * Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office and Excel or Google Suite GENERAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Proven organizational, planning, project management, and prioritization skills to ensure proper and timely completion of projects. * Advanced experience partnering with stakeholders at all levels. * Ability to multi-task and consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professional demeanor. * Ability to maintain a high level of integrity in all business relationships, both internally and externally. * Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and tact. * Commitment to quality work, customer service and a "can do" attitude. * Resourceful and able to work independently with good judgment, initiative, and common sense. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * Minimum 5 years' experience in HR management or HR business partner role * Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field. Masters' degree in HR, Leadership, OD, Org.
