The HR Manager will be responsible for evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies and making sure all employee-related policies align with our corporate goals and established regulations. This position is responsible for reducing employee turnover at our company and attracting top talent to fill open positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member
Manager a team of HR professionals
Ensure new hire orientation process properly introduces new employees to the corporate culture
Provides monthly reporting to HR leadership on company compensation and benefit offerings in comparison to market and makes recommendations for improvements
Develop new ways to measure employee engagement and morale to determine methods for improving overall employee satisfaction
Coach, educate, consult and advise leaders and employees on HR initiatives
Establish HR metrics to provide visibility to leaders on organizational effectiveness
Ensure accuracy of employee data through the use of comprehensive audit program
Act as liaison between the company and outside legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations
Support the talent acquisition process in collaboration with the TA manager
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Excellent team building skills, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic HR strategies to drive business results
Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
Must have strong communication skills to include verbal, written and interpersonal
Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships, influence others at all levels, and drive change
Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, and compliance requirements
Ability to influence and manage change
Ability to travel up to 25%
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR generalist experience required
