We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department as an HR Manager in one of our North America Fulfillment Centers.

The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our initiatives around flexible fulfillment centers. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company

  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement

  • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment

  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement; Demonstrated experience driving processes improvements and specific skills in Kaizen methodologies preferred

  • Strong project management skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results

  • Success in creating and driving effective employee relations, retention and reward programs

  • The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"

  • A strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions

  • Strong internal and external customer service focus

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays

Learn more about us at <a href="" target="_blank"></a>.<br />  </div> <div><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></div> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"> Assist managers and supervisors with network and systems operations, telecom operations, help-desk operations, program management and network architecture functions of the IT department in establishing priorities, identifying computing needs and system requirements while managing risks. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Perform regular network system administration including adding/removing users, securing rights to shared network services, data and resources, installation of network-based software and systems components; and troubleshooting issues.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Provide technical guidance, advice, and training to system users, including first-line end-user support. Install new versions of personal computer software.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Design and maintain systems that provide appropriate levels of information security and stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to information security. Develop and maintain information security policies, regulations, standards, and procedures. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans for information systems to ensure business risks are addressed with appropriate recovery times.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Project future technology needs of the organization, including technologies to assist the IT department’s efficiency and productivity.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Procure IT hardware, licensing and third-party professional services that optimize quality and cost-efficiency.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures and service standards in conjunction with management.</li> </ul> <div>QUALIFICATIONS:</div> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or related field is preferred.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">5 years of related experience in an MIS environment. Other combinations of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Working knowledge of Windows-based personal computer operating systems, networking systems, and application software.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Analytical/problem solving, independence, flexibility, leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Willingness to be available outside of normally scheduled daytime hours during night and weekends.</li> </ul> <div>Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes generous benefits and bonus plan.
