You are responsible for

  • Drive the HR Talent Strategy in partnership with the Business Leaders to deliver the SOP

  • Deliver workforce planning, compensation planning, talent management and succession planning

  • Support the GM's aligning their managers and employees capabilities to long term strategies

  • Coach and advise Managers on the interaction with global teams and cross functional matrix structures

  • Site HR Leader for Oxnard and change agent to implement programs that support the business goals

  • Own the team engagement in partnership with the leaders

  • Embody the Mercury Cultures and Values as well as a one HR team approach

  • Leads change management process on cross functional projects or as part of any HR related work

  • This role will be responsible for transitioning two sites (Camarillo and Oxnard) into one with a focus on employee engagement and change management

You are a part of

This position will play a key role in leading our US Manufacturing site supporting all of Mercury's business units. We have a state of the art manufacturing site and are looking to build a winning team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required

  • 8+ years' experience in human resources

  • 1-2 years' experience in a HR leadership position

  • Strong understanding of the compensation, recruiting, employee life cycle, benefits administration, payroll and other HR functions

  • PHR certification a plus

  • Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels in the organization

  • Customer Service focused

POSITION SUMMARY: Supports HR Manager and HRBP to successfully implement local initiatives, and execute regional and corporate programs.
