Conditions for Employment

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
A minimum of two years of human resource management experience preferred
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Well organized and good attention to detail
Motivated company sponsor and group leader
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Job Description:
Benefits Administrator
Evaluate and recommend insurance companies for InterConnect Wiring
Organize and plan open enrollment meetings to discuss insurance options
Oversee HR invoice review process and ensure invoices are provided to Accounting in a timely manner
Assist employees with any questions or concerns regarding their benefits
Represent InterConnect Wiring when speaking with insurance companies
Maintain separate employee folders for confidential issues
Handle all medical related issues with employees that pertain to HIPAA
Liaison with Workers Compensation Carriers
Employment Coordinator
Work with the management team to execute the organizations human resources and talent strategies.
Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants.
Miscellaneous Tasks
Complete all supervisory duties related to the HR department
Process payroll
Attend training seminars to strengthen human resources skills and remain current on all HR issues
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Provide employment verifications
Coordinate substance abuse testing, vision exams and hearing exams
Handle employee complaints and suggestions
Provide employee pay rate and pay structure information to supervisors when requested

Maintain Employee Manual
Create new company documents as needed
Offer ideas for improving processes and update process manuals
Ethics Coordinator
Complete yearly EEO-1 reporting
Complete yearly Veteran 4212 reporting
Maintain InterConnect's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP)

Coordinate and run monthly safety committee meetings
