IDEX HR Manager in Rochester, New York

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Human Resources Manager will provide hands-on and strategic responsibility to both Pulsafeeder sites for the execution of Pulsafeeder human resource processes including talent acquisition, strategic HR operations planning and leadership development, and day to day HR activities. The incumbent with partner with mid-level leadership team at both Rochester, NY and Punta Gorda, FL Pulsafeeder sites to drive business objectives and functional strategies in supporting Pulsafeeder's growth goals. Support within a Union environment, particularly with collective bargaining agreement interpretation and issue resolution. Position is based in Rochester, NY, a unionized manufacturing facility, and may require incumbent to travel to Punta Gorda for quarterly visits, as needed.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES - Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Recruitment
Employee and Labor Relations
Participates in the interpretation and guidance relative to collective agreement, company policies and procedures.
Partners with leaders in the performance management process for both managers and employees. Guides supervisors and managers in addressing employee issues and grievances based on the IDEX values of Trust, Team, and Excellence.
Lead in employee complaints and subsequent investigations.
Compensation Planning
Talent & Organizational Development
Develops and leads training initiatives focused on developing the mid-level leadership team including: skills training, management development programs, etc..
Leads talent conversation with mid-level leaders to partner and create succession planning, individual development growth plans, and overall team cohesion to support achieve business growth goals.
Participate in organizational analysis and HR strategic planning for Pulsafeeder organization.
Facilitate the Employee Engagement survey process and drive development and implementing action plans improve engagement and maintaining IDEX top quartile engagement for Pulsafeeder year-on-year.
Lead annual Performance Management and Goal Setting cycles with mid-level leaders.
DE&I & Affirmative Action :
Work with Director of HR to develop and implement opportunities to drive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion activities into the culture of Pulsafeeder in partnership with IDEX programs
Implement annual Affirmative Action Plan goals and maintain documentation required to prepared annual affirmative action plan for Pulsafeeder.
HR Administration:
Serves as the HR process owner for payroll (reviewing timesheets/approving preliminary reports)
Oversees the annual Open Enrollment, including communication and engagement
Partners with Safety Manager is integration of Safety Committee and contingency safety plans
Ensures direct reports are completing work on-time and with high quality to ensure streamlined operations within the HR Team and supporting functions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in in Human Resources Generalist role or similar required
Minimum of 2 years of HR management experience role preferable
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment
PHR/SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
Labor relations and previous experience negotiating labor contracts, required
Successful track record of recruiting, developing and retaining scalable talent
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong initiative, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills..
Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic decisions (employment, engagement, etc.)
Strategic leader able to gain trust and confidence of leadership
Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and exercises sound judgment.
Organized, detailed and excellent at managing resources, data and time.
Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Proficient with Workday or similar HRIS system; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Ability to travel to Punta Gorda, FL site on a quarterly basis, as needed.
Authorization to work on an on-going basis

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $97,400.00 - $146,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
