SUMMARY:

We are looking for a fun and strategic HR Manager to join the team at Five Below. You'll be challenged to push boundaries, partner with senior leaders and develop a one-of-a-kind associate experience. A big part of your day-to-day will involve coaching and consulting managers on how to build an unparalleled culture and truly bring our purpose and core values to life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides HR guidance and support to the Distribution Center across a breadth of areas including talent management, employee development, performance management, change management and associate relations.
  • Manages a local HR team, overseeing the execution of critical Human Resources (HR) initiatives, practices, systems, programs, and policies
  • Assesses the HR implications of business initiatives and serves as a key thought partner in helping the building achieve critical KPIs while also serving as a key thought partner in the development of the network wide Distribution HR strategy
  • Partners with business leaders to create a fun, positive associate experience while maintaining productive work environments that result in the best associate experience in distribution
  • Partners within the building, and across the network to facilitate the Talent Development process; including talent reviews and succession planning discussions
  • Develops and implements people solutions to drive efficiency
  • Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
  • Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 5-7 years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced fluid environment, prioritizing work load as changes occur
  • Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter
  • Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, solving problems in a creative manner
  • Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with employment laws and practices including: FMLA, ADA, AAP, FLSA, EEOC
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), knowledge of Kronos and Workday a plus
