City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a HR Manager to lead the Kansas City/Partnership HR Team. This is a newly created role that will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources to include talent acquisition, employee relations, company business practices, procedures and policies, performance management, new hire onboarding, benefits administration, and AA/EEO and employment law compliance.

Requirements

Administers various human resource plans and process for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Manage employer-employee relationships (ER). This involves receiving and effectively handling employee complaints, escalating these complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal action when necessary, updating employees with any changes in company policy, advising supervisors on treatment of staff and company policies, responds to employee violations of policy and generally helps to resolve conflict in the workplace. This includes handling harassment claims and participating in sensitive investigations.
Responsible for recruiting exempt/non-exempt level employees including sourcing, interviews, administering assessments and background checks, extending job offers and administrative follow-up with candidates.
Communicates benefit information to employees and administers enrollments.
Manages all unemployment claims, and any claims resulting in litigation (through 3rd party service provider).
Manages all workers compensation claims and relationship with Accident Fund; trains supervisors and employees on safety rules and regulations, what to do in the event medical attention is required or necessary, and the accident reporting procedures.
Administers and maintains I-9 compliance and auditing as necessary.
Oversees and administers all new hire onboarding programs and new hire orientations, including pre-hire evaluations.
Manages HRIS system, including configuration and updates.
Administers all people surveys, to include quarterly Positively Impact our People and Annual Engagement & Satisfaction Survey.
Administer and track all FMLA and personal leave claims.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment laws.
