Job Summary:

The lead recruiter provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to technical recruiter and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across several states.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Fills leadership-level positions across organization.

  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.

  • Develops sourcing pipelines for difficult to staff locations.

  • Develops and executes a plane to increase diversity

  • Manage and delegate workload appropriately.

  • Works closely with hiring best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on strategic initiatives.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Thorough understanding of technology, roles and technical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent understanding of how to create and report recruiting performance metrics.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, BI, ATS, and HRIS related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field a plus.

  • Five years of recruiting experience required.

  • Technical recruiting experience a plus.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.

  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
