This position provides support to the Human Resources department by working on a variety of HR projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Humans Resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with recruiting activities for manufacturing and office positions including scheduling and conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screening, etc.
Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed.
Assist in company training, such as New Employee Orientation (NEO), Harassment Prevention, Ethics, Diversity Awareness and other Human Resources related training.
Assist with maintenance of confidential employee & applicant information utilizing various HRIS tools such as Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.
Provide backup support to the HR Receptionist and perform mailroom duties as needed.
Support the Affirmative Action Plan maintenance activities and audits as needed.
Perform research and assistance for various Human Resources related projects as needed.
Other duties or projects as assigned.
Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
