Yaskawa is searching for a Bi-Lingual Human Resources Generalist for our Buffalo Grove Facility. The HR Generalist will be responsible for HR-related duties on a professional level and work closely with senior management in supporting the Associates in this facility.

This position will support all facet of HR including benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy development and implementation, recruitment/employment and employment law compliance. We are looking for a true HR business partner, not a tactical HR Administrator. The right candidate is someone who understands the complexities of our business and can help organizational leaders design and develop their teams for success.

In addition to daily HR support, the HR Generalist will work on organization wide projects such as compensation program design, organizational development and HR technology upgrades. This role will be based in our Buffalo Grove manufacturing facility 4 days per week and one day per week in our Waukegan, IL corporate headquarters.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR, industrial relations or related field and have 3-5 years of experience with HR in a manufacturing setting supporting exempt and non-exempt positions. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of approachability, confidentiality, and ability to problem solve in complex situations.
