HR Generalist

Our client is in need of an HR Specialist/Generalist who specializes in employee relations. This person will be the point person on enforcing policies and procedures of a high profile contract.

Responsibilities Handle employee relations to maintain positive relationships between employees and other members connected to the organization Enforce policies and procedures as they relate to the project Investigate, and provide resolution for systematic matters such as harassment, terminations, worker's compensation, EEOC, and accommodation needs Address and troubleshoot employee complaints Qualifications A minimum of 4 years experience in Human Resources Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is highly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong knowledge of labor and employment law Great interpersonal skills Problem solving and conflict resolution skills Prior experience working in employment law, social services, the government or a staffing firm is desired Previous experience working as on-site HR through a staffing firm is highly favored Relevant training or HR Certifications required This job is presented to you by TemPositions Office, a division of the TemPositions Group of Companies.
