Posted 2 months ago, the leading supplier of media and technology solutions for real estate professionals, is looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to provide HR services for our Santa Clara, CA location.

This individual will report to the Director, HR Business Partnerships and will work closely with corporate Human Resources staff based in Scottsdale, AZ, Westlake Village, CA, Austin, TX and Vancouver, B.C.

Our ideal candidate will not only efficiently manage hands-on tasks but will consult with local leadership regarding people resource planning, employee relations, performance management, and onboarding.


  • Partner with local management team as both a strategic and tactical resource for talent management

  • Partner with management to continually evaluate and develop all employees within the organization

  • Manage employee relations programs, policies, and procedures for on-site employees

  • Maintain good communication and a positive relationship with managers and employees to promote our culture

  • Onboard new staff and acquaint them with company practices, culture and business

  • Responsible for local, state and federal compliance efforts, as well as NewsCorp's Standards of Business Conduct

  • Responsible for on-site safety programs and workers compensation reporting

  • Liaise with Payroll for on-site employees to assist with their time-off and time reporting questions

  • Assist Benefits team in answering day-to-day employee questions and annual open enrollment coordination

  • Assist the Senior Manager in the development and administration of Human Resource / Organizational Development programs

  • Oversee the local Performance Management/ Review process in San Jose. Provide input into redesign and evolving the program into meeting the future needs of the site and company

  • Partner with HR on the development of talent assessment tools, work with local leaders on the identification and development of high potential staff

  • Act as coach to local managers to deal with HR issues proactively and resolve issues strategically and tactfully


  • BS/BA in related field or PHR a plus, 5+ years in Human Resources in a corporate environment

  • Exceptional and influencing verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience acting as a trusted resource with management and Director-level

  • Confident and assertive, and experience positioning HR as a strategic resource

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint , Outlook and Word

  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law

  • Experience communicating and facilitating talent management programs, and experience identifying the need for these programs preferred

  • Excellent employee relations skills

  • Must be detail oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize

  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to work independently
