What's attractive about the Human Resources Generalist position?
Every day is a new adventure collaborating with employees and managers on a variety of human resources related matters in a diverse and exciting environment. This position will support the Akron, OH, Ankeny, IA, and Paris, IL locations.
What Success Looks Like:
Identify and deliver solutions to support decisions related to talent, employee relations, recruitment, and compensation.
Collaborate with team members to communicate and implement HR strategies.
Interview and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions and coordinates and conducts new hire orientation.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance.
Work with leaders to maintain time and attendance, discipline, and personnel records.
Respond timely to employee inquires of benefits, payroll, compensation, policies, and procedures.
Analyze, evaluate, and present data results to relevant managers and advise on changes and/or improvements.
Experience working in a fast paced, complex, dynamic business environment.
Possess initiative to improve processes and have a customer service-oriented mindset.
Demonstrate ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential information.
Work to support the adherence to safety programs.
Your Credentials:
3+ years of Human Resources experience to include talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong skills in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
PHR certification preferred.
15% Travel
The salary range for this position is $56,019 to $84,020 w/ bonus potential.
