Human Resources Generalist, Learning & Development Buffalo, NY Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an HR Generalist, Learning & Development, to join our client in leading the nation in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean-energy powered economy. This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Primary Responsibilities Organizational Development Provide critical administrative support while taking on more advanced responsibilities in the design, delivery and management of learning and development initiatives. Manage end to end coordination of learning programs, including internal systems, vendor coordination, scheduling, tracking, reporting, and analyzing effectiveness. Register, track attendance and completion of a variety of training programs and follows up as necessary with staff to ensure compliance.

Plan logistics and processes for learning events and provide project support for learning & development activities. Conduct, facilitate and/or monitor HR-related training such as but not limited to EEO and Workplace Violence Prevention and the full suite of annual mandatory trainings, inclusive of scheduling, enrollments, delivery, and compliance tracking. Address needs related to learning programs, the employee learning management systems, troubleshoot where possible, and direct employees to the appropriate resource as needed.

Develop, plan, execute, and operationalize learning and development programs, including mentorship, leadership development, and “Learning Tuesdays,” and track the delivery processes. Support the design, implementation and oversee programs focused on developing and applying relevant workplace skills and competencies, as defined in the HR Roadmap. Governance Keep current with mandated professional development plans, trends and learning opportunities.

Assist in coordinating training budget and initiatives to ensure development opportunities are provided across the organization. Build positive, collaborative partnerships among business units to communicate a holistic approach to career development and encourage a culture of learning. Collaborate with various HR Team members on other subject areas within HR, including recruitment, policy development, compensation, benefits, recognition, and the employee life cycle.

Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field and 5 years of work experience, with at least one (1) year of proven training program development from concept to delivery. Technology savvy with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Familiarity with learning and development delivery systems.
