A great healthcare management company in Reno, NV needs an HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. Will be managing employees in various locations throughout Reno and will require local travel. Fantastic opportunity to work for one of the country’s fastest growing companies! Compensation is $50,000 – 65,000/year DOE.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.


HR Generalist will assist in the HR department's daily operations which include:
Overseeing 50 employees
• Recruiting
• Benefits
Orientation
• Performance Management
• Payroll
• Onboarding and offboarding
Auditing HR files



Requirements:

Associate's Degree or higher in Human Resources or related field
Five years of HR Generalist experience
• Medical experience and eye care experience preferred
Valid Nevada driver's license

Your contribution to the N.CA HR team: * On-site Human Resources Generalist as a business partner with one or more client groups * Subject matter expert for one or more HR functional areas. * Performs moderately complex Human Resources related duties at the professional level for the full life-cycle of employment * - Carrying out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: on-boarding, employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, training, policies and handbooks, compliance, HRIS/Systems, leave of absence, benefits and compensation administration. * Administers HR policies and procedures. Collects and analyzes HR data, assists the HR Manager and HR Director with tasks as assigned and makes recommendations to Management. * Provides direct support to HR Manger and Area HR Director in various areas such as employee relations, recruitment and staffing, training and development, benefits and compensation, policy and procedure compliance, organizational development, performance management, succession planning and other corporate initiatives supporting the full life-cycle of employment. * Coordinates the staffing and hiring process, including pre-boarding and successfully on-boarding employees. * Investigates help line calls and resolves employee conflicts and/or questions. * Conducts new hire orientation and other training programs. * Assists in resolution of employee problems including coaching, counseling and discipline. * Conducts new hire orientation and other training programs. * Monitors for compliance to Federal, State, and local laws and company policies. * Develops and analyzes HR metrics, such as employee turnover reports, and recommends plans/programs to improve employee engagement and satisfaction as well as improved financial and employment metrics. What you need to be successful: * Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) AND 4+ years of relevant professional level work experience. * Desired: PHR, SPHR or other HR professional certifications. * Computer skills including high proficiency using Microsoft Office, time and attendance and other human resource information systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Kronos). Knowledge of report writing, generating and data analysis is a plus. * The ability to travel 25% throughout N. CA. Travel may include overnight stays. A valid drivers license is required.
