Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a data-driven Associate HRBP to use their analytical abilities to influence business decisions, within a growing Human Resources team. The Associate HRBP is responsible for building foundational relationships with assigned departments within SAS in a variety of ways, including talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement. The scope of responsibilities and projects will range from long-term strategic to daily operational support. HRBPs are passionate, roll-up their sleeves, problem-solvers who help engage our employees and push the business forward. Support employees and business needs in a way that is ethical, credible, relatable, and transparent.
Develop strong partnerships with respective business functions and assist in determining HR priorities consistent with business objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach for respective front-line and mid-level business leaders.
Partner with leadership to build and develop high performing and engaged work teams.
Advise and coach employees and managers on organizational practices, processes, and values.
Provide training for employees and managers on HR topics, as needed.
Drive year-round talent management processes, including performance calibration, development plans, etc.
Drive leadership development, management/employee coaching, and employee engagement.
Analyze key HR metrics to identify talent opportunities and track progress of current strategies.
Collaborate with other members of HR to leverage expertise, systems, and processes in support of business needs.
Support HR related projects for the betterment of the organization.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to effectively reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
Work days and hours: 1-Shift, M-F 8-5.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years HR-related experience, HR Generalist experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree preferred, certification/experience will be considered in lieu of education.
PHR or SPHR preferred.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

Sound business acumen.
Knowledge of Employee Relations, Labor Law, Talent Management, and Analytics in a corporate environment.
