Role and Responsibilities

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a data-driven Associate HRBP to use their analytical abilities to influence business decisions, within a growing Human Resources team. The Associate HRBP is responsible for building foundational relationships with assigned departments within SAS in a variety of ways, including talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement. The scope of responsibilities and projects will range from long-term strategic to daily operational support. HRBPs are passionate, roll-up their sleeves, problem-solvers who help engage our employees and push the business forward. Actions of all members of HR, including the HRBPs, are driven by our policies, procedures, and workplace practices - all of which are focused on upholding our Values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Learning, Family, Accountability, Customer, and Quality.

  • Support employees and business needs in a way that is ethical, credible, relatable, and transparent.

  • Develop strong partnerships with respective business functions and assist in determining HR priorities consistent with business objectives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach for respective front-line and mid-level business leaders.

  • Partner with leadership to build and develop high performing and engaged work teams.

  • Advise and coach employees and managers on organizational practices, processes, and values.

  • Provide training for employees and managers on HR topics, as needed.

  • Drive year-round talent management processes, including performance calibration, development plans, etc.

  • Drive leadership development, management/employee coaching, and employee engagement.

  • Analyze key HR metrics to identify talent opportunities and track progress of current strategies.

  • Collaborate with other members of HR to leverage expertise, systems, and processes in support of business needs.

  • Support HR related projects for the betterment of the organization.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to effectively reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance

  • Work days and hours: 1-Shift, M-F 8-5.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years HR-related experience, HR Generalist experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, certification/experience will be considered in lieu of education.

  • PHR or SPHR preferred.

  • Strong consultative, mentoring, coaching, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization.

  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and effectively coach both managers and employees.

  • Creativity, innovation, and the ability to think 'out-of-the-box' in problem solving, organizational diagnosis, and solution generation.

  • Sound business acumen.

  • Knowledge of Employee Relations, Labor Law, Talent Management, and Analytics in a corporate environment.

The Human Resources Generalist will provide HR counsel and support. Working closely with the HR Business Partners, you will demonstrate a broad scope of knowledge and experience and contribute proactively to the planning and day-to-day HR activities of Indeed Staff, LLC. Responsible for performing a variety of human resources functions including handling of employee life cycle, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Responsibilities * Provide consultation and coaching to frontline leaders * Provide HR counsel and a full range of generalist services to the organization within the HR model. * Advise on performance management issues (such as PIP/Development/Action Plans) and lead minor investigations and reorganizations. * Assist Centers of Excellence Partners with planning and roll-out of HR programs and initiatives. * Monitor and provide support to the business during annual processes such as compensation headcount planning. * Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying best practices in order to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve employee engagement, and ensure legal compliance. * Identify opportunities to improve HR programs by identifying consistent patterns. * Identify and propose solutions to improve HR practices. * Work closely with HR operations team members to implement specific HR processes and transactions * Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks as required with cross-functional HR / Partner teams About you.
