Entity and activity description
The GM&T WBU delivers technological solutions (molecules, equipment and services) to support the new markets of energy transition, maritime logistics and scientific exploration, in order to accelerate Air Liquide sustainable growth.
To support the energy transition, GM&T brings environmentally friendly solutions to the clean energy market with hydrogen energy and Bio-Natural Gas for vehicles, refrigerated transport using nitrogen, but also the treatment and injection of Biogas into the energy grid as a local power source.
As a player of the deep tech sector, GM&T commercializes technologies dedicated to Space, Aerospace and scientific exploration. GM&T also supplies gases for players in of the maritime sector and provides logistics for cryogenic transportation by sea of value added molecules, such as helium.
GM&T employs 1,800 people world-wide and generated a 2017 revenue of 372 million.
This role reports to the Director of Human Resources for the Innovation & Development Division of Air Liquide in the US. This person supports an employee population of approximately 350 employees and managers including ~100 nonexempt employees, located across the US.
Duties and Responsibilities
Liaise proactively with US-AL Houston HRIS counterparts to maximize simplification and integration during system upgrades, roll-outs and changes.
Promote employee use of US-AL Hub HR self-service resources; direct employees to the appropriate subject matter expert
Bring developing issues to the attention of the IDD HR Team; suggest resolutions to issues and/or improvements to processes and systems
Participate actively in safety and process improvement initiatives
Coordinate the administrative aspects of HR reporting and record keeping, talent acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management, salary administration and benefits support. While the role has an administrative focus, this individual will work closely with the Human Resources Director to carry out the Air Liquide Group strategic HR vision (in areas of performance management, people development and technical expertise)
Talent / Learning Management Administration
Assist in Talent Campaign management: HR Reviews, Local TCL, IHP, Performance, Succession planning, workforce planning
Work closely with client groups to define training plans
Ensures training and development of the workforce is occurring (training and qualification elements are built, assigned, tracked and maintained in LMS )
Full responsibility of on-site training events coordination (vendor selection, management, scheduling)
Data & Analytics
Conduct data reporting and analytics across various departments within Human Resources, including presentation preparation.
Assist in data reporting/collection and analysis for current and future reporting tools
Develop standardized metrics and reporting packages for use by senior management.
Prepare Google Slides presentations, reports, dashboards, and decision support packages for senior management.
Perform audits of data in various systems, leveraging subject matter experts.
Champion continuous improvement in HR data and reporting.
Manage storage, security and data integrity of all employee and HR function records, electronic and hardcopy
Ensure compliance with data privacy, storage and record retention policies
Perform data entry, analysis, reporting and clean up across various HRIS systems (Workday, TAS, TMS, LMS, Carm)
Ensure data integrity and underlying processes to ensure accuracy
Process HRIS transactions in designated systems covering a variety of topics (recruitment, offboarding, mobility, etc.)
Develop competence as the organization's subject matter expert in the utilization of the tools (Workday, TMS/LMS, TAS, MDM).
Participate in HRIS development and assists with integrating systems, special projects as assigned
Work with HR and appropriate internal and external partners to define procedures for HR processes that involve systems (onboarding / offboarding)
Train new users on existing functionality, existing users on new functionality/implementations
