Position Purpose:

The HR Field Leader is a dedicated 'boots on the ground' champion for employee support in our stores. This role serves alongside the HR Business Employees as the sales regional contact and liaison for HR program implementation, employee coaching & development, and Petco Transformation initiatives. The HR Field team is responsible for executing various leadership development and advancement tools while also displaying high energy and a passion for people. They will work alongside the HR team to implement programs to ensure the best employee experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Employee with field HR leadership in the development and execution of HR programs and strategic initiatives

  • Work alongside the Talent Management team to execute coaching, competency, performance, and career development programs for the retail teams

  • Serve as a frontline coach to employees and leaders for their development and growth

  • Support the retail leadership selection process, and develop field leader capabilities to onboard, develop, lead, and inspire their teams to elevate our employee experience and impact business results; make recommendations to hire, advance, promote, or perform other changes of employment status for employees

  • Help develop and execute onboarding processes and curriculum for retail roles

  • Engage with the Retail Transformation team to promote INTENT selling behaviors and to aid in store redesign to ensure organizational alignment

  • Help develop and maintain proper staffing plans for stores, proper scheduling to meet store needs, and succession plans are created

  • Communicate HR expectations and share best practices from top performing stores to elevate performance. Develop action plans to impact results

  • Leverage Voice of the Employee insights to assist in developing District and Store Action Plans

  • Employee with the field to ensure a successful implementation of our Performance Management process (goal setting, quarterly check-ins, career development plans, merit and incentives)

  • Provide real-time feedback to HRBPs and retail leaders on immediate performance concerns

  • Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

  • Special projects, as assigned

  • Potential travel required to support field efforts

Supervisory Responsibility:

Ability to lead cross functionally with no direct reports.

Work Environment:

Continuous mobility throughout stores daily

Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. daily

Stoop, kneel and crouch daily

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3+ years of professional HR, employee development or leadership coaching experience, preferably in a retail setting

  • HR or coaching credentials preferred

You will primarily be responsible for the management of US non-immigrant and immigrant visa processing. Your in depth knowledge of the US immigration environment will allow you to consult with Fiserv associates, HR Business Partners and managers on topics such as visa strategy, immigration options and timelines, and travel requirements. Responsibilities * In partnership with outside immigration counsel, responsible for managing US non-immigrant visa filings including but not limited to H-1B, L-1B/A, and TN visas * In partnership with outside immigration counsel, responsible for the oversight and management of all US permanent residency cases including but not limited to PERM, I-140 filing, I-485/AOS * Facilitate the timely response to all immigration audits, Requests for Evidence, etc. acting as the intermediary between the business and external counsel * Act as primary point of contact for managers for any USCIS site visits * Serve as a point of contact for associates and hiring managers to discuss and consult on available immigration options, processes, guidelines, and education on new or changing policies * Communicate immigration requirements, government procedures, and case processing times to HR business partners, associates and managers * Assist with prioritizing and managing immigration timelines, including renewals and expiration dates * Assist with designing and developing immigration resources for managers, HR Business Partners, and associates including FAQs, internal policies, and process documents * Work with Global Mobility vendors (tax, relocations, etc.) to initiate assignment benefits. * Work with internal partners including Corporate Tax, Payroll, and Human Resources to coordinate international assignment logistics as needed. * Manage immigration case files in the Global Mobility system, AssignmentPro. Required Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * 2-3+ years of high-volume U.S. employment-based immigration experience with extensive experience working with within the consulting industry clients (required) * In-depth knowledge of H-1B and L-1 visas as well as the permanent residency processes (required) * Knowledge of general global mobility and international assignment concepts * Experience working for a multinational company with a global associate population * Experience managing a high volume, global caseload Preferred Additional Skills/Experience: * Ability to stay cool under pressure and work in a high volume, highly complex environment * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills * Ability to interface with all levels of the organization * Excellent organization and prioritization skills * Ability to identify, assess, and resolve complex problems * Must be able to stay informed of the ever-changing immigration landscape, identify and outline potential roadblocks, and ability to present creative solutions to new challenges * CRP or GMS certification * PHR, SPHR, GPHR certification Learn more about Fiserv: Life moves fast.
