Robert Half has the role for you! Our recruiting client is looking for to add an HR Employee Relations agent to their team in Tacoma, WA! An ideal candidate will come equipped with extensive customer service experience and very strong communication skills.
Individuals with strong interpersonal skills will thrive in this role! Here's what you'll do: ? Receive and respond to a high volume of employee and associate inquiries, grievances and suggestions ? Use effective listening and counseling skills when addressing allegations; provide clear and accurate information in all circumstances; convey concern and a genuine, objective point of view. ? Respond to and resolve complex employee and associate complaints. Participate in investigations and provide guidance to field management and employees.
Prepare written reports and document investigation results for employees and associates. ? Consult and advise managers on employee relations matters, including allegations of a sensitive nature. Recommend courses of action to managers and ensures proper documentation is in place. ? Provide guidance on employment law, company policies, practices, and procedures; partnering with the various functions to ensure the issue is resolved. Assists with the implementation of company policy. ? Guide managers through the performance management process including corrective action and/or coaching for employees and associates.
Review counseling documents if needed. ? Partner with the legal department to assess risk of employee and associate issues. Compile information for the legal department in coordination of reporting obligations to external agencies. ? Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of employees. Helping to promote productive and positive relationships between managers, employees, co-workers, and associates. ? Coach employees and associates in crisis. ? Develop, implement and/or deliver HR related training for managers, employees, and associates.
