Overview:

As an HR Coordinator / Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the human resources department by handling various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. You will be responsible for managing employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, coordinating onboarding and training programs, and providing general support to HR managers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Administrative Support:

  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment status, and benefits enrollment.

  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents such as contracts, offer letters, and policies.

  • Manage HR databases (ADP and Workday) and electronic filing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Support the HR Business Partners on the Administrative tasks that they perform in workday and ADP, and other systems.

2.Recruitment Coordination:

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

  • Coordinate pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

  • Prepare new hire paperwork and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

3.Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees, including scheduling sessions and booking venues.

  • Track employee training progress and maintain training records.

4.HR Compliance:

  • Assist with ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Prepare and maintain reports related to HR metrics, such as turnover rates and other pertinent statistics.

  • Support HR managers in conducting audits as needed.

5.Employee Relations:

  • Act as a liaison between employees and HR managers to address concerns and resolve issues.

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR or related field.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS software.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
