RH's San Francisco HR Services team has partnered with our client who is an internationally-recognized leader in integral education. Together we are looking to find an HR Coordinator for a CTH opportunity that will start immediately! The ideal HR Coordinator candidate needs to be available immediately as we are looking to have a start by 10/17. -assisting faculty and students with timesheets (approving, processing in the system, speaking to people about their timesheets) -collaborate with payroll HR staff to maintain files, update documents, help with benefits -utilize ADP -organize, edit and maintain HR forms and materials

  • Assist in the onboarding offboarding processes

  • Maintain electronic HR records; produce reports for internal use and government agencies

  • Customer Service

  • Assist with payroll

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree not required but highly preferred ? 1-2 years of HR experience, payroll experience highly desired ? Prior successful experience auditing bi-weekly timecards ? Strong organization and attention to detail ? Demonstrable skills maintaining confidentiality of employee records and other HR documents ? Prior successful experience wage and employment verifications and producing other reports from HR records as needed ? Excellent written verbal communication skills ? Solid customer service skills ? Strong ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats in the department ? Assist other departments in reporting leaves, garnishments and paid time off to effectively track benefits and payouts ? Strong Excel skills a must, prior experience using ADP highly desired

VIEW JOBS 12/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-08T00:00 About This Job Description Position Overview Position: Part Time HR Coordinator Location: Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf, 555 North Point Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 Hourly Rate: $20 per hour, including free breakfast & lunch at the hotel cafeteria Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, on Tuesdays & Fridays Job Description & Qualifications: Key responsibilities include: HR Administration 1.Greets and assists employees, provides information and assistance to employees regarding worker's compensation, leave of absence, and benefits programs. 2.Ensures that employee files are set up and maintained in accordance with company standards and government regulations. 3.Ensures all employees are complied with I-9 requirements. Maintain I-9 binders. 4.Manage employee area, such as lockers, HR bulletin boards etc. Making sure employee area is well maintained and updated. 5.Provide employment verification for current and formal employees. 6.Manage HR Office supplies, keep tracking HR Department Checkbooks, creating POs etc. Recruiting Support 1.Assists with screening employment applications, pre-screening candidates, setting up interviews. 2.Oversees the background screening process for new hires. 3.Coordinates new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth, pleasant onboarding experience. Employee Relations 1.Answers questions regarding basic interpretation of personnel policies and procedures. 2.Brings all sensitive employee relations matters to the attention of the Director of Human Resources. 3.Coordinates various employee relations' activities, such as monthly birthday party, quarterly recognition reception, quarterly managers outing, annual awards party etc. 4.Recommends employee relations practices to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation. 5.Assist with administration of associates' opinion surveys. Qualifications: 1. An average 3.75 GPA with a bachelor degree from a four year university. Proficient in Micro Soft Office Suite, especially good at Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Be able to design eye catching posters for employee activities. 2. Detail oriented, understand the confidentiality of the job, be able to keep sensitive information confidential. 3. Accountable, responsible and punctual. 4. Good organization skills, efficient, strong work ethic. 5. Have an interest in HR or hospitality industry, has the potential to develop. 6. Hotel or Office admin experience preferred. 7. Have to commit to work at least one day a week. Have to be able to work on Tuesdays and Fridays. Have to commit to stay on the job for a year.
