The HR Coordinator provides support for various HR employee programs for MRM West. This role will collaborate with the HR Team and provide support on tasks and projects including, but not limited to: new hire paperwork and orientation, on-boarding, payroll, HR metrics, off-boarding, employee recognition, diversity and inclusion, learning and development initiatives and a variety of other HR projects as they come up. This position will report to the VP, Human Resources Director.Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new hire paperwork, orientation and administer the on-boarding process including: prepare, present and collect new hire paperwork, maintain I-9s, and process E-Verify
  • Schedule and present employee orientations
  • Assist with payroll processing: index freelance and overtime timesheets, obtain payroll approvals, and prepare paperwork for processing
  • Staff/team notifications, IT new hire requests, system on-boarding with RedCarpet, etc.
  • Support and maintain reporting needs, including but not limited to, HR department metrics, EEO and Affirmative Action reporting
  • Manage group email mailbox and respond to employee inquiries regarding various HR-related topics
  • Update/create/maintain employee files
  • Coordinate diversity and inclusion initiatives, including managing relationships with area universities and colleges
  • Actively promote and practice a high level of confidentiality
  • Assist HR team with miscellaneous projects/research/tasks as needed

Required Skills
  • 1-2 years of relevant HR or professional work experience desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information is a MUST
