Under the leadership of the Senior Manager of Employee Engagement and Recognition with a matrixed reporting structure to the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Project Coordinator will provide program support to the Office of Employee Engagement and Recognition along with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to coordinate training and educational programs. This will entail being a willing and able team member responsible for carrying out a wide variety of project planning and execution tasks.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Plans and organizes programs and events for both the Offices of Employee Engagement and Recognition and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Develop and manage project plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, status reports and presentations; helps to define project deliverables.
Plans and manages event schedules; secures appropriate venues and arranges food; prepares and disseminates course or program materials, managing course or program registration, preparing pre and post program communications with attendees such as promotional materials and program evaluations.
Maintains project documentation including, but not limited to: Project Plan, Meeting Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Decision Documents, etc.
Performs research, writing and design in the preparation of the promotional materials, policy and training manuals, handbooks, reports and presentations.
Maintains content on the respective offices' websites, making collateral, maintaining social media platforms and branding.
Assist in the design and production of written materials such as charts, white papers, PowerPoint presentations and reports.
Track participant lists and utilization metrics to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
In conjunction with team members, assists with the submission, tracking and following of payments, invoices and other financial transactions both internal and external to the organization. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Co-op and internship experience in program management, marketing, event coordination, employee engagement and/or diversity and inclusion a plus.
A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
Mastery with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; graphic design experience a plus.
