Abraxas Youth and Family Services is a national leader in the operation of residential treatment facilities and community-based programs for troubled youth and their families.
The position, in conjunction with corporate Human Resources personnel, will provide technical and administrative support to ensure compliance with human resources related issues for the program/facility.
Act as human resources liaison for the employees at the program/facility under the direction and guidelines of corporate human resources.
Conduct new hire employee HR orientation training.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Advises management with appropriate resolutions regarding employee related issues such as corrective action and utilize corporate human resources department as needed.
Assist with investigating accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
The following educational requirements are acceptable for this classification including:
At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.
Valid registered vehicle insurance.
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
